THE LEAST OF THESE - FAMM

THE LEAST OF THESE

Lost in translation …
A weary plea fallen
on deaf ears. Often
misunderstood and
feared by those who fear
to love;
for after all,
our fallible nature fears what it does not understand.
Beneath the encrusted and callous exterior
of a persona forged by the fires of survival
of the fit are beautiful BROTHERS and
SISTERS.
Fallen SONS and DAUGHTERS of the Most
High GOD. MEN and WOMEN of our failing
societies,
whom society will fail without.
WITHOUT 1: OUTSIDE 2: used as a function word
to indicate the absence or lack of something or
someone. SOMEONE — some person:
SOMEBODY: a person of position or importance.
Important because, although a vessel
marred; however, may be made whole in the
hands of the potter.
Marred by conditions of
poverty and abject
living.
Decayed family structures and broken
homes, which become the cinder
blocks
for the housing projects of our poorly pre-fabricated communities.
Communities deplete of qualified
teachers and holistic education;
drowning in a sea of hopelessness,
tossed to and fro by the waves of capitalistic
gentrification. “SCRATCHING and SURVIVING”;
truly, even the most adept of super optimist
could not find a “GOOD TIME” in such.
In spite of; from such, molested wombs
are spawned “so-called” feral young
which cannot be caged or confined
by situation, circumstance, or
condition. Ever mindful that in
the Petri dish of life; thriving
amidst the culture of mankind,
lies the biotic panacea to the societal plagues of humanity.
May we embark on the pilgrimage to solace through the convoluted sanctity
in,
“THE LEAST OF THESE”!
