Seven in 10 Americans Favor Elimination of Mandatory Minimums for Nonviolent Offenders

poll-2The latest Reason-Rupe poll finds that more than seven in 10 Americans, 71 percent, favor the elimination of mandatory minimum sentences for nonviolent offenders so that judges can regain the ability to make sentencing decisions on a case-by-case basis.
