FAMM supports fair and proportionate sentencing laws that allow judicial discretion while maintaining public safety. FAMM's federal project focuses on repealing and preventing federal mandatory minimum sentencing laws and improving federal sentencing guidelines. Although not our main areas of focus, FAMM also works to improve the federal sentencing system through the courts, the commutation process and prison-related policy issues.
