Paul Sarlo, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. After each call, please send feedback on the responses you received. My contact information is below.

Message to lawmakers
[When you call, ask for the legislative aide]
"I am a member of New Jersey Families Against Mandatory Minimums and I support S-1866, a bill to reform our state’s harsh drug-free school zone law. The Assembly passed companion bill A-2762 on June 23. Together, A-2762 and S-1866 would allow courts to tailor an appropriate sentence after considering the person’s prior criminal record and the seriousness of the offense. I ask you to support S-1866 because it will save the state money, reduce disparities in the criminal justice system, and allow sentences to fit the individual and the offense. Thank you for sharing my views with the senator."
Thanks for taking time to call these important lawmakers. Don't forget to let me know how your calls were received. You can reach me at (609) 292-4840 or

Sincerely yours,
