Interested in learning how to help change unfair sentencing laws? The ACLU will be holding a grassroots training session, with a special focus on the federal crack cocaine sentencing disparity, in Charleston on Saturday, May 16. The ACLU's grassroots training session in Charleston is designed to help individuals bring about positive change on important civil liberties and civil rights issues. The session will not only provide the latest updates on vital issues at play in South Carolina and around the country, it will also provide you with the tools necessary to successfully engage decision-makers on those issues. The training is hands-on and completely free; you just need to RSVP.
