Our Funders

Generous individuals and foundations support FAMM’s work for fair and proportionate sentencing policies.  With your contributions, FAMM fights mandatory minimums and other harsh sentencing policies across the country with strategies that include grassroots organizing, policy advocacy, litigation and media outreach. Your generosity is also matched by your diversity – FAMM counts families, individual philanthropists, foundations, legal advocates and many others among our donors.

  • Each year, FAMM holds an annual December fundraising drive that helps fund our work throughout year. The December 2005 fundraising drive was the most successful ever – FAMM raised $78,000, which was matched by three anonymous donors.  FAMM was especially grateful to the 338 incarcerated men and women who made a point of sending stamps and checks in support of our work.
  • Individual philanthropists sustain FAMM’s work year after year through grants that underwrite FAMM’s mission and allow us to expand our efforts federally and in the states.
  • Foundation grants are a critical source of support for FAMM, providing both general operating funds and project funds. Click here for a list of FAMM's foundation supporters.
  • Individual supporters makes it possible for FAMM to work for sentencing reform. We will send you a one-year subscription to our quarterly newsletter, the FAMMGram, a Citizen Action Kit and FAMM alerts to keep you updated on the latest sentencing reform news.
