Families Against Mandatory Minimums (FAMM) works to put a human face on mandatory sentencing laws by profiling the cases of people serving them.

FAMM compiles these case profiles by widely distributing FAMM case summary forms to federal and state prisoners through our FAMMGram newsletter. Prisoners fill these forms out with the basic facts of their case and send them to FAMM, along with a brief personal account of their case. 
 
FAMM uses case profiles in our work with legislators, in public presentations, and in public education materials, including FAMM brochures, pamphlets, posters and other informational materials.  We also highlight select cases in the FAMMGram newsletter and here on our website. An even smaller number of cases are made available to media for use in newspaper and magazines articles, and for radio and television interviews or feature stories.*
 
IIf you have a loved one who wishes to submit their case, please print out the Case Summary form below and have them fill it out and mail it back to us.** Once this form has been completed, please mail it to:
